HOW GRIEF SUPPORT
GROUPS HELP
When people are experiencing grief they feel
isolated in their pain. To be able to look across the room and know others have
similar thoughts and feelings is like applying a soothing anesthetic to a painful wound.
Over time people begin to feel a sense of power and less a sense of helplessness by
sharing their grief. |

Dawn's Light Center for Children and Adults in Grief.
We offer a safe and caring place where grief is a natural transition of life.
Services Include:

| Grief support for children, teens, young
adults, parents who have lost a child and the siblings

| Dawn's Light is providing support for
children/teens and their families. Support groups are being
organized according to the age of the children/teen, the person who died and/or type of
death and
may include the following:
Children and Teens from 3 to
18 years of age
Young Adults ( 18-25 years of age)
Healing from
Suicide deaths

We are having a teen class once a week
Nansea Arquette, LCSW welcomes teens 13-19 years of age
to join them at Dawn's Light 591 So. Washington Street in Sonora Mondays from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
